Instructions for both KONIG HOME & GO

After you've fully charged your KONIG, open it by tapping the white shield on the top, then place one of the RFIDs over the shield and the lid will open.

PROGRAMMING

1. Begin with the lid open. Press and hold the inside learn button for 3 seconds until the KONIG begins to
beep twice consecutively. Release the learning button.

2. Within 10 seconds, wave the new RFID directly over the power button to program that RFID.

3. 6 rapid beeps and a rapidly flashing green LED indicates that the card has been programmed successfully.

Up to 10 RFID’s can be programmed into the KONIG.
Once the RFID limit has been reached, the white emblem will flash a red light when attempting to program an additional RFID, and will not remember any new RFIDs until the existing RFID’s are successfully deleted (See section “Deleting all Preprogrammed RFIDs in instructional manual”).

Begin with the lid open. Press and hold inside “learn” button for 3 seconds or until the KONIG begins to beep and flash blue light. Release the learn button.

Within 10 seconds, place finger on the plastic directly above the bars and swipe down firmly over the reader

**Note: Do not swipe too fast or the reader will not have time to read fingerprint properly.

The white emblem will turn blue while scanning the fingerprint, and then rapidly beep 3 times with the green LED blinking when the fingerprint swipe is scanned successfully.

To fully program your fingerprint, continue swiping the same finger again over the fingerprint reader. This process on average takes 5-10 swipes of the finger but may require more swipes if print is slightly smooth.

When the fingerprint is programmed, the device will beep rapidly 6 times with a flashing green light, indicating the fingerprint has been programmed successfully.

Start with your KONIG open. Press and hold the inside learn button for 3 seconds until your KONIG begins to
beep and flash a blue light.

Within 10 seconds, enter a new keycode into the numeric buttons on the lid. Enter the new keycode quickly; your KONIG will time out with 5 seconds of inactivity. The keycode MUST be 5-10 digits long.

With each press of the numeric pad, your KONIG will chirp and flash a green light indicating that the entry was recorded.

After entering the full keycode, press the power button to program the keycode. Please ensure that the new
keycode was successfully saved by using newly saved keycode.

**Note: Only 1 keycode can be stored to your KONIG at any time. The KONIG may come preprogrammed with a keycode for quality assurance (13579). If your KONIG is unable retain a new keycode, delete the previous code(see section “Deleting the Existing Keycode”) and start again.

MISC

Your KONIG is equipped with a tamper alarm* to alert you if your KONIG has been moved.

Press the power button to wake your KONIG. Press and hold the 1/2 and 9/0 keypad buttons for 2 seconds or until your KONIG begins to beep and flash yellow light.

Your KONIG will be armed within 5 seconds. After being fully set, any vibration directly near or on your KONIG will cause the alarm to sound. Your KONIG will continue alarming for 2 minutes and will automatically turn off and rearm if the alarm has not been cleared.

▪ If one of the numeric buttons on keypad is pressed, your KONIG will flash yellow indicating that the
alarm will sound within 10 seconds if a valid access method is not used to open the lid.

To disable alarm, press the power button and open the lid using a preprogrammed RFID, fingerprint or keycode.

To rearm the alarm, press and hold the 1/2 and 9/0 keypad buttons once more* while the lid is closed.
*Note: You must enable the alarm each time after your KONIG has been opened.

The white emblem may flash a red light to indicate the previous swipe was unsuccessfully read. The KONIG is still in programming mode. Continue swiping the same print to successfully program.

If the white emblem flashes red 6 times and buzzes, the print was not successfully read. The process has been cancelled and will need to be restarted by continuing on step 1 once more.

Up to 10 fingerprints may be programmed into the KONIG. Once the limit has been reached, the white emblem will flash red when attempting to add additional prints, and will not program successfully until the existing fingerprints have been deleted (See section “Deleting all Fingerprints”).

It is recommended to use the middle and ring finger if difficulty persists.

Your KONIG closes easily by pressing down on the top front of the KONIG. The latches are spring loaded and
will automatically lock onto the security pin.

IMPORTANT: Do not slam the lid shut on the KONIG Home. This will cause plastic cover on hydraulic shocks to break.

Your KONIG battery may last up to a year on a single charge, but to be safe we recommend charging it every 3 months. Soon you'll be able to download our app and get notifications on your phone when your KONIG needs to be charged.
