Here are some common questions about our products, shipping policies (**).
Both the König 1.0 and Junior are considered by the FAA/TSA as an "Approved Handgun Containers for Flight" as stated in their regulations.
FAA/TSA requirements are as follows to properly secure a firearm while traveling:
1. A hard-sided container.
2. Must be locked using a secure lock that only the passenger has the key.
3. Firearm must be completely secure from being accessed by others.
Additional guidelines while traveling with a firearm:
According to FAA/TSA regulations pre-programmed RFID FOB, RFID keycard, RFID wristband, RFID ring, or RFID sticker all act as a "key" for the locked gun compartment and must be kept with the passenger at all times.
FAA/TSA prohibits the carry of a weapon within an airplane cabin. You must place your unloaded firearm inside the locked hard-sided container and transport in CHECKED BAGGAGE ONLY while traveling.
FAA/TSA also require that you declare each firearm each time you present it for transport in your checked baggage.
All separate firearm parts including magazines, clips, bolts and firing pins are required to be transported inside checked baggage.

Please keep in mind, every airport is different and will have different procedures and standards when it comes to boarding any aircraft with firearms.
Most handguns will fit within The Gunbox König 1.0 except for larger caliber pistols, "extra-large" handguns, or longer-barreled revolvers.
We strongly recommend measuring your handgun before purchasing to make sure the safe is compatible to your needs.

Questions or concerns regarding creating your order.
We offer discounts to periodically either by email or through social media promotions.
We encourage being a part of our email subscription list to be
notified as soon as a new promotion is offered.
discount can be applied to a single order to prevent "discount stacking."
This also applies to discounts that are automatically placed on an item for a limited promotion.
When attempting to apply a discount code to a cart holding a discounted item, the code will be declined automatically and an error message will appear.
We are always happy to honor a valid discount code. Just let us know at email@example.com with the following information, so we can credit your order.
1. First and last name of the customer listed on the order.
2. Email address listed on the order.
3. Order number.
4. Date of order.

We honor valid discount codes up to one week after the date of purchase.
Please keep in mind, we do not honor expired discount codes, or discount codes to orders with a discount automatically or manually applied to the processed order.
Please send an email using your official police department email address to firstname.lastname@example.org or, using any email address, send a photo of your ID (if permissible) or other qualifying document.
Once verified, we will send you a discount code to enter at checkout.
We offer a military discount to all branches of military (active duty, and veterans). In order to be provided our military discount code, we would need to have only ONE of the following for verification sent to email@example.com:
1. Copy of Common Access Card (CAC).
2. Copy of Military Identification Card.
3. Copy of a US state issued ID, Veteran ID, or driver's license with veteran designation.
4. Copy of VA Issued ID card.
5. Sending an email from current .MIL email address.
All orders are shipped within 24 hours of the order being completed through our website, excluding weekends and holidays.
After creating an order, 2 automated email confirmations will be sent to the email address specified on the order:
1: Order confirmation that lists all items that were purchased, the amount paid, as well as the address that was provided to us at the time of processing the order.
2: Shipping confirmation that provides a tracking number to keep tabs on the status of transit.
Our fulfillment facility ships all orders through UPS or USPS.
UPS is used on all orders that include one or more König 1.0 or Junior.
USPS is utilized to ship smaller orders that contain accessories only or to deliver orders to P.O. Boxes indicated as the shipping address on the order.
USPS may also be used when shipping to noncontiguous areas and territories of the United States.
The tracking number provided will determine which carrier your order was processed through and will be delivered by. To ensure a tracking number is provided when shipped, please verify the email address stated when creating an order.
If you notice the address needs to be corrected on your order, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address provided is correct prior to completing the purchase. We are not responsible for any orders shipped and delivered successfully to the address input as the shipping information provided at the time of purchase. It is important to note that we do not alter or edit addresses on orders unless directed to do so in writing by the purchaser.
For any re-routes needed after an order has been shipped, a flat fee of $25.00 is required.
We are not responsible for any lost or stolen orders once marked as delivered by the carrier unless proof is provided to use as evidence in a claim.
In this instance, photos or videos indicating the carrier did not arrive to the customer's home at the time stated by the carrier will need to be provided to Support in order to create a claim.
Once a claim is created, we will be able to create a replacement order.
Normally, all separately purchased accessories (not normally provided with an order of a Konig 1.0 or Junior) are placed inside the safe, to avoid leaving residue, scratching, or otherwise blemishing the exterior of the safe.
Before contacting our Support, check inside the safe for the accessory by opening the lid with with a pre-programmed RFID card or FOB. If the item(s) are not located there, please reach out to us at email@example.com with the name and order number as stated on the automated order confirmation email.
As we try our best to provide exceptional service, some factors when not in our hands are outside of our control.
However, please be sure to keep the shipping box as well as all contents received with the order while contacting our support for assistance in creating a claim and replacement order. We can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Warranty and Replacements faq
All products sold by Konig Safe including the König 1.0, König Junior and accessories are covered under a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Warranty coverage applies to all parts provided.
Coverage begins from the original date of delivery and is active for a consecutive 365 days thereafter.
Warranty coverage applies to orders created and fulfilled by approved third-party companies, including Amazon. Proof of purchase is necessary in order to receive warranty benefits for purchases fulfilled through third-party companies.
An RMA for Replacement is necessary for a replacement of any item.
If a Warranty Replacement is noted as necessary by Konig Support, the customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred. It is ultimately Support's decision if an exchange or otherwise is deemed applicable and if any fee is required at the time the RMA is provided to the customer.
Warranty Returns processed within the 30-day window after the date of purchase are provided a return shipping label, to cover the costs incurred when shipping the original unit to our facility. König, Inc will also ship the replacement unit at no extra cost to the customer.
The customer is responsible for contacting support within the 30-day window following the date of purchase, and is responsible for responding in a timely manner.
RMAs not returned to König within 90 days of receiving an RMA form and return shipping label are at risk of the shipping label becoming expired. If this
occurs, our support will not provide a replacement return shipping label, and the customer will then be responsible the costs to return the affected unit to the König shipping department.
The warranty coverage does not apply to items no longer in possession by the original purchaser (i.e., sold by the original customer).
International orders and units that are stored outside of the United States are not provided warranty coverage.
Any evidence the following found when the unit is returned to our facility will void the warranty, despite the amount of time left on the existing warranty.
1. Disassembly of the unit
2. Liquid spills
3. Use of an adapter with specifications
other than recommended
6. Damage sustained to the exterior body or internal components
7. Modification or tampering to
exterior body or internal components
Blemished, Open Box, "As-Is" or "Scratch & Dent” products are provided a warranty coverage of 6 months following the purchase date.
Returns and Exchanges
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee that begins on the ship-out date stated on the tracking number associated with the order being returned.
In order to receive a full refund, the following criteria must be met:
1. Contact Konig Support at email@example.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form to print and include with the order before shipping the return to us.
- 1.a. The identifying RMA number and form must be included with the return when received by our shipping department.
- 1.b. We may refuse a refund if an RMA is not requested by support and provided prior to returning the order.
2. The return must be requested within 30 consecutive days after the date of the shipment.
3. The product must be returned to the address as stated in the RMA form in new condition.
- 3.a. A partial refund may be
provided if a product is returned blemished (i.e., scratched, dented, or has otherwise been made cosmetically imperfect), or damaged, hindering the use of product in any way.
4. All standard accessories provided with order (2 RFID keycards, 2 RFID key FOBs, 1 charger/charging cable, 1 stop block [König 1.0 ONLY], 1 hex wrench) MUST be provided with the safe when returned in new condition.
Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping charges incurred when returning an item to our facility at the address specified on the RMA form provided via email by firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Note: We are not responsible for any items deliberately or otherwise returned to a location differing from the location specified on our RMA form.
Damages: Konig Safe is not responsible for any damages sustained or missing items when delivered and acknowledged by our shipping facility.
Because of this, we recommend purchasing shipping insurance when returning the product back to our facility.
Accessories: Any separately purchased accessories not included with a König 1.0 or Junior order as specified in the paragraph above must be provided in new condition when returned to receive a full refund for the accessory.
Third Party Purchases: Customers must abide by the third party's stated return policy and complete a return through the third-party company directly.
Open Box Units: All sales are final on Blemished or "Scratch & Dent” units purchased. Returns and exchanges for these units will not be provided.

1. Name of the customer who purchased the order.
2. Order number used to purchase the product being returned.
3. Proof of Purchase.
An RMA is necessary to return the order.

Products being returned for exchange must be in new condition. If a product is blemished, we may send the original product back to the customer.
